Effective Date: February 21, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By opting in to receive SMS text messages from Jeffrey Parker, Attorney at Law (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before providing your consent. This SMS program is governed by these Terms of Service and our SMS Privacy Policy.

Description of Service

Our SMS service provides clients with text message communications related to their legal matters, including but not limited to:

  • Case status updates
  • Court date and appointment reminders
  • Billing notices and payment requests
  • Other communications related to your legal services

Consent and Opt-In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from us through any of the following methods:

  1. Paper Form: By completing and signing our SMS Consent Form in our office, which includes checking a consent box and providing your signature.
  2. Website Form: By completing our online SMS Consent Form at our website, which requires you to actively check a consent box (unchecked by default) and submit the form.
  3. In-Person: By verbally consenting during an office visit, followed by written confirmation on our SMS Consent Form.

Regardless of the method, all opt-in requires an explicit, affirmative action on your part. You are opted out by default and will not receive SMS messages unless you take a deliberate step to consent.

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages from us at the number provided. You understand that:

  • Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, or of receiving legal representation.
  • You may receive messages even if your phone number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list.
  • You are solely responsible for any charges your mobile carrier may impose for sending or receiving text messages.

Message Frequency and Costs

  • Message frequency varies based on your case activity and communication needs.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message you receive from us
  • Contacting our office directly to request removal

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.

Carrier Liability
